Centrom developed a FileNET system to manage all of the Periodic Payments (Standing Orders/Direct Debits) received by mail from the scanning stage through to Index/Archive and Retrieval for a major UK retail bank. We took the project from inception through to implementation and release and finally to a fully supported stage carried out by Centrom's helpdesk.
The application was developed on top of FileNET's Image Services backend and Visual Workflo package. A large part of the development involved a retrieval front end written in ASP. However much of the backend processing used automated Visual Basic robots and some customization on the server acting as the FileNET repository. In the banking sector such a mission critical solution requires extensive fail-over testing and Centrom designed and implemented a system to fully cater for disaster recovery scenarios.
